North Chelmsford, Mass., February 27, 2001 -
In a report recently put
out by Alexa Research, Net-Temps was again ranked among the top 10
job sites based on traffic out of the 20 sites rated. The report
based its findings on a comparison of website traffic between
December 2000 and January 31, 2001. The research also found that
among these top 20 sites, traffic overall grew 47.7% for the same
time period. Alexa attributes this significant increase to the recent
layoffs and downsizing of dot.coms. According to Marc Engel, lead
analyst for Alexa Research, "While national unemployment figures are
still near historical lows, the cutbacks in Internet-related
industries have created a large, available talent pool, one that
knows how to find anything online, including jobs." Net-Temps is a
leading online job board specializing in temporary (contract) and
direct placement employees.
