Reference Number: 071609GB Job Description: Net-Temps is actively seeking an experienced Java Developer to work for our Online Recruiting Service www.net-temps.com. This IS a TEST job posting. It is an excellent opportunity to join a successful company, established in 1995 that is looking to expand. Net-Temps is the top rated job board specializing in temp, contract and permanent placement employment through one of our Staffing Agency customers. The qualified applicant should have 1-3 years of experience and a 4 year degree. The position will involve maintenance of a large Java, PHP and Perl codebase as well as new projects primarily in Java. Deployment is a mixed Solaris/FreeBSD environment. Development is done in Red Hat and Windows on the Eclipse platform. We are embarking on several exciting new projects and need developers who can take initiative and suggest new ideas in addition to being technically competent. Experience Level: Unspecified Requirements: Applicant must live within 20 miles of Chelmsford, MA Strong Java skills and proven development experience on and for UNIX platforms is required. Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts is also required Preferred Experience: Experience with Struts or other MVC framework Wishlist: Apache Lucene search engine Familiarity with the Eclipse IDE and Ant build system PHP, Python and/or Perl experience Administrative knowledge of MySQL, Apache, Resin, Solaris, or FreeBSD

Location: North Chelmsford MA Duration: Direct Placement Pay Rate: $50k - $100k
