Two “Killer” Resumes That Got Good Jobs

Here are examples of two resumes that we worked on for:

SPECIAL NOTE: Don’t let the extent of the achievements in these resumes de-motivate you because they appear to have more a longer work history or more experience than you have had. It took hard work to come up with these achievements. What it means is you also have to work very hard to develop your own achievements. As a job coach, I’ve worked with so many people who had similar feelings, yet who found they had strong achievements once they dug down and recognized them and we translated them onto their resume.

Employment History
Spent 4/5 of my career with one employer. This $13 billion Corporation was the largest wholesaler in its industry in the country. The company had in excess of 25,000 employees many of which were Teamster Union represented and many facilities remained non-organized even though the union made numerous attempts. I began with this employer as a Divisional Human Resources Manager, was later promoted to Director, Human Resources Eastern Region (comprised of 7 divisions), and finally promoted to Corporate Director, Labor Relations.
