This is a retained Executive Search for our client a World leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft, turbines and space propulsion systems with operating profits of $2.0 billion in 2007.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering
(10+ years) of design experience with digital systems & processor based circuits
Proficient with ORCAD Capture, and PSpice Software
Proficient with VHDL & Assembly level programming
Proficient in MS Office software
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ability to work under general supervision and minimal technical input
Able to work on product development and support tasks through the application of advanced techniques and procedures.
Able to revise and recommend design modifications to meet client specifications.
Assignments normally include responsibility for specific tasks, minor projects, or parts of major projects.
Work of engineering support personnel is coordinated, although the position is non-supervisory.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES UNIQUE TO THIS ASSIGNMENT:
Electronic circuit, firmware and electronic system design and support engineering for FADEC and other products as assigned
Design of digital systems & processor based circuits
Test equipment design and support for products as assigned
Technical interface and communications with customers, vendors, and other personnel relating to assigned products and tasks (including training, proposals and presentations)
Electronic circuit and system analysis, testing, and preparation of associated technical reports as assigned
Regular reporting of status on assigned tasks
