Reference Number: 09-08980 Job Description: CE SME Location - Durham, NC Duration - 2 to 3 month contract (with extension) Tasks: Perform some 20 assessments on a bio-mechanical device for mechanical, biological and chemical hazards. Suggest ways to mitigate or eliminate the hazards. Assist team on other aspects of safety assessment. Experience / Skills: Familiar with Risk Assessments using EN ISO 14121-1-1 and risk reduction using ISO 12100-1. Familiar with CE safety directives for lab equipment. Familiar with mechanical, chemical and biological hazards. Experience with mitigating or eliminating hazards on mechanical devices. Degreed Engineer Experience with machines using plural power sources Detail oriented Excellent written and oral comm skills Skill Sets: Education Level Required Industry Experience Technical Education Discipline Mechanical Engineering Experience Level: 4 Years Requirements:
