Job Description:
Large Oil & Gas Company looking for CNC Machinist

Experience Level:

Requirements:
Two year certificate from college or technical school

or three years experience on machine tools such as manual or CNC lathes, mills, grinding, gear hobbing

or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates, Licenses or other Registrations
None.

Tools and Equipment
None required to start, however the company does not furnish indicators, OD micrometers smaller than 5?, ID micrometers smaller than 12?, machinist scales, squares, tool boxes or basic hand tools such as hammers, tape measures, punches, pliers, wrenches, etc.

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to figure Constant Surface Feet



Other Skills and Abilities:
Basic knowledge/understanding blueprint reading

Basic knowledge/use of precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, indicators, calipers, dial bore gages, etc.

Basic knowledge/understanding of tooling terminology/nomenclature.

Knowledge of standard functions of horizontal/vertical mills, and/or lathes.
