Reference Number: 2008-58 Job Description: Responsible for managing the risk management departmental operations including claims management, interfacing with defense legal counsel, administration of a progressive risk management program on a daily basis, analysis risk management data, conducting educational programs, compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory authorities and enhancement of the quality of care to improve patient safety. Experience Level: Unspecified Requirements: Education/Experience: Qualified candidates must have 5 years of clinical healthcare experience, excellent professional writing and public speaking skills minimum of two years in a Management level position. Preferred Ideal candidate will have a BS in a clinical discipline (RN) and certification as a CPHRM from the American Society of Healthcare Risk Mgmt. Knowledge and experience in clinical risk reduction, Six Sigma or process improvement techniques Must possess the ability to prioritize and work independently and as part of a team.

Location: Portland ME Duration: Direct Placement Pay Rate: $65,000-80,000
