Job Description: Experienced project manager needed to lead the development, deployment, and support of a Clinical Research Management System (CRMS). The project leader will develop a team relationship with the CRMS User Development Team and will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of work done by the CRMS User Development Team, central IT staff, and the CRMS vendor.
The project leader will maintain accurate, up-to-date project plans using Microsoft Project. Lead successful projects using their strong team building skills, meeting facilitation skills, risk management skills, priority management skills, technical skills, and project management best practices. Responsible for leading system and software development activities; system analysis, gathering of requirements, development of functional/technical specifications and designs; reviewing technical documents from others; and working with the vendor to assure correct delivery of software and systems per specifications. Develop test scripts, execute tests, and coordinate the testing activities of others.
Will interface with the Software vendors, netowrking staff, researchers and programmers/DBAs.

Experience Level: 5+ Years
Requirements: Required: -Prior experience leading the design/development of a clinical research management system to manage human clinical trials. -Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required. -Five years of IT experience, with some project management experience required. Additional education can substitute for some experience. Additional years of related experience may substitute for some education. Successfully completed courses or seminars in project management required. -Experience with Microsoft SQL Server required. -Ability to complete highly complex project tasks and to move between different and multiple tasks as priorities sometimes conflict and must be reviewed or shifted to meet deadlines required. -Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills in terms of customer service, training, promotion of new technologies, negotiation, and persuasion.
