Reference Number: NBPL Job Description: Project Leader needed for the Medication Management area. The responsibilities for this position are to lead the analysis, design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support tasks associated with all Sunrise medication management changes and related patient safety initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, medication order entry, ordersets with complex medication requirements, and electronic medication administration. The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal, analytical, and technical skills, demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple simultaneous project assignments, a proven ability to prioritize projects, and demonstrated ability to interact effectively with multiple levels of an organization, clinical, and ancillary customers. In addition, the candidate must be familiar with medical logic modules and other complex system functionality and be able to apply this system functionality to provide maximum patient safety resulting in a reduction of medication errors and a more efficient and effective workflow. To 92k Experience Level: 5+ Years Requirements: Required: -BS, Computer Science or Related Field, MS, preferred -5 years clinical experience as a nurse, pharmacist, pharmacy technician, or other allied health field in an acute care setting. -5 years experience with Provider Order Entry systems or other complex clinical system (preferably Eclipsys?s Sunrise Clinical Manager product). -7 years experience applying analytical ability to solve complex technical problems. -3 years experience leading IT initiatives.

Location: Baltimore MD Duration: Direct Placement Pay Rate: $50k - $100k
