Job Description: Clinical Support Analyst to support information systems in long term care delivery. -Work with clinical customers to identify, develop, support and implement clinical based solutions that will optimize patient care. -Understand federal and state regulations in order to provide system compliance. -Facilitate the requirements gathering and workflow analysis. -Participate in quality assurance testing of new software releases. -Provide analyst level support for new software selection, configuration, and analytical production issues.
-Function as the liaison between the vendor, customers and internal/external development areas.
-Drive the process required to meet business customer requests, government regulations or to build interfaces with other systems.
-Become the system expert, focusing on clinical functionality.
-Participate on interdisciplinary project teams.
-Provide demonstrations of software applications to clinical customers.
Experience Level: 2 Years
Requirements: Required: -College diploma or university degree. -Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Demonstrable skills developing functional requirements. -Previous experience supporting healthcare clinical and patient care systems. -Skilled in use of industry standard software/tools, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Visio -Successful track record developing/managing software installation and conversion -Occasional travel Preferred: -Direct patient care experience a plus
