Job Description:
Systems Analyst needed to support a healthcare environment including development of a database and reporting system to evaluate effectiveness. Specific requirements will include:
-Develop productivity and financial reports utilizing advanced SQL query skills and Crystal report writer with the Lawson Workforce Management software (previously Vastech 24/7).
-Develop competencies for strategic thinking and planning.
-Communicating and effecting change in a political environment.
-Develop and manage staffing effectiveness reports and reporting systems.
-Manage quarterly data requirements.
-Manage the transition from manual web-based entry system to XML format entry.
-Manage regulatory database and reporting system for Regulatory requirements.
-Create new databases and report templates.
-Compile data required for reporting.
-Maintain database of clinical documentation data elements.
-Assist with the development of financial reporting utilizing the Vastech 24/7 Nightingale database.
-Develop custom ad hoc reports

Requirements:
Required:
-BS with MS preferred
-Experience with relational databases/warehouses and process development.
-Must be highly proficient in SQL, MS Access, Crystal reporting, SPSS and have experience with XML. A demonstrated ability to perform complex SQL queries.
-This is a leadership position that will require work on a team that may include clients as well as working independently.
-Experience with project management and hospital operations.
-Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to explain highly technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
Preferred:
-Experience working with software vendors to evaluate system effectiveness and required enhancements.
