Job Description:
The Tester position will support implementation and testing for user applications in an internally developed Oracle application. Will work closely with the user community to analyze requirements, write and execute test cases, perform testing, implement test scripts and submit defects for corrections.
-Work with analysts and developers to analyze formal requirements.
-Review requirements to ensure that they are suitable for testing.
-Produce test documentation from formal requirements
-Write test plans and specifications
-Develop test cases
-Review testing documentation for accuracy and thoroughness
-Design and implement manual tests
-Prepare and maintain regression testing and testing reports
-Maintain testing documentation and scripts based on application needs and changes
-Work with divisional trainers for effective knowledge transfer
-Work with customer support to transfer first tier knowledge base

Experience Level:
3 Years

Requirements:
Requirements:
-BS in computer science, information systems, or other technical degree; the ability to demonstrate skills may be considered if candidate does not possess a BS in a related field.
-3-5 years experience in planning, implementing and executing software tests
-3-5 years experience in developing in Oracle PL/SQL
-Experience in a Unix/Linux environment (previous experience with VMS a plus)
-Ability to convey both technical and customer-friendly oriented documentation

Preferred:
-1-2 years experience in Oracle JDeveloper
