Reference Number: 156921 Job Description: You must meet the skill criteria below in order to be considered for the below opening. Duration- project long term, you must fill out the amount of years you have with each of below skill set, attach a word copy of your resume and specify your hourly rate ( W2 only please) --In depth knowledge of AIX LVM, JFS, and ODM concepts. --Ability to diagnose pSeries booting and system initialization problems. --Knowledge of cron, permissions, umasks, ACL's, and vi. --Ability to setup accounting and auditing, and interpret data output. --Working knowledge of the AIX error logging subsystem, fsck and defragfs commands. --Ability to diagnose login problems. --Overview of AIX kernel tracing and reporting. --Understand concepts of AIX LVM mirroring, striping, and concurrent volume groups. --Knowledge of differences between JFS and JFS2, 32-bit and 64-bit kernels and environments. --Familiarity with RS/6000 & pSeries hardware, including Regatta LPARs.
