Job Description: Large Aerospace Company located in Torrance is in need of a Customer Program Specialist for a 6 month + contract. Oversees and coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between Program management and planning, project teams, and product line management. Reviews status of projects, part status and orders; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project/product/order issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customers satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers. Will attend costumer meetings, manage action items, expedite/prioritize shipments, understand export license/credit holds/incomplete sales orders. Acts as point of contact. End of the month reporting metrics.
3+ years on experience with career growth within supply chain, program management, manufacturing and/or engineering experience in aerospace. Bachelor's Degree in applicable field. Six Sigma Greenbelt trained/certified. Black belt certification desired. Understanding of P&L and other basic financial measures. Ability to work within large, complex, and global organization. Excellent team building skills Program management and presentation skills Strong customer relationship building skills and excellent written/verbal communication skills are required.
