This is a weekend position, working overnight. The right candidate must be able to work in the Hartford area, overnights on Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday night.
In this position, you'll have the opportunity to:
Uninstall complete desktop set ups
Install entire desktop set up
Connect and set up printers, faxes, phones
The position includes the following qualifications:
Excellent technical knowledge of desktop hardware and software, including Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent technical knowledge of PC internal components
Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
A+, Network+, MCP Certification not required but a plus
Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories
Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides
Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required
Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
Strong customer-service orientation
