In this Vet Tech position, you'll have the opportunity to:

Handle and perform veterinary observations in a variety of laboratory animal species from rodent to NHP
Perform anesthesia, surgery, and peri/postoperative protocols, and veterinary care procedures and treatments to research animal models
Operate, maintain and troubleshoot medical equipment and laboratory procedures
Provide technical support for animal model development and in vivo study execution in areas of rodent and nonrodent surgery, anesthesia, and Bioimaging in vivo support
Maintain accurate records and documentation

Are you interested? The ideal Vet Tech candidate will possess:
Experience with companion animal and/or common lab animal species in anesthesia delivery, surgery/surgical nursing, in vivo study techniques, and/or diagnostic imaging
Pharmaceutical research experience, and IACUC protocol operations experience
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Outlook and PowerPoint
Knowledge of working in a regulatory environment (GLPs, SOPs)
B.S. and AALAS certification RLAT or RLATG preferred
Current veterinary technician and/or specialty certification/license, i.e. RVT/LVT/CVT, SRA, SRT is required
