IT BUSINESS CONSULTANT V - BA
Contract position with duration of 11/09/2009 - 04/30/2010
Tele worker available for Bay Area candidates
Our clients Managed Print Services organization is implementing a new business infrastructure from assessing and designing a new print environment, quoting of the services, setting-up the billing and entitlement contracts, deploying and monitoring the devices, invoicing for services and reporting on usage. A critical aspect of implementing this environment is ensuring that we have robust deal configuration and pricing as well as the ability to perform deal-level financial analysis. These capabilities are being implemented in an SAP environment
Key activities include:
Engage with the business experts to understand and document the business requirements to be implemented in the new SAP environment
Work with the IT professionals on the analysis and design processes to drive the right solution
Develop and document use case scenarios and test cases
Perform and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Develop training materials in collaboration with the Business and assist in the training delivery
Ideal Background / Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
5+ years of experience in a services business environment, preferably in Managed Services
Specific knowledge and experience in finance, pricing and quoting systems and processes
Finance, accounting and cost and price modeling experience and financial analysis / metrics and reporting knowledge
Extensive experience in documenting and analyzing business requirements for SAP based implementations
Experience in working with IT professionals on the analysis and design processes
Use Case and Test Case writing experience
Participated through full lifecycle of a significant SAP implementation
Ability to work virtually and cross-functionally with minimal supervision
Project Management / Facilitation / presentation skills
Demonstrated success at driving change in processes across organizations
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
