In this position, you'll have the opportunity to:
Utilize your solid background in quantitative analytical skills using LC-MS (liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry) to analyze dietary supplements and natural products using HPLC, LC/MS, and other laboratory techniques
Develop, optimize and validate methods for the extraction and analysis of natural products and dietary supplements, while performing non-routine physical and chemical testing
Write and edit reports, methods, and SOPs
Represent the company at conferences and trade shows
Are you interested? The ideal LC/MS Chemist candidate will possess
In depth knowledge of basic analytical instrumentation including, but not limited to LC/MS HPLC GC, FTIR (fourier transform spectroscopy), UV-Vis (ultraviolet visible spectroscopy), and GC/MS (gas chromatography)
Basic laboratory sample preparation skills
ISO 17025, GLP, and cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) experience
At least a B.S. in Chemistry 3+ years experience working in an analytical chemistry lab as an LC/MS ChemistKnowledge of Chemstation software
Please keep in mind that in addition to GC experience, qualified applicants MUST have LC/MS experience. This is a contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent. No relocation assistance will be provided, so candidates local to the Boulder, CO area are ideal.
