Job Description:
On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a VB or ASP.Net Web Developer for a full time, direct hire position. The role is responsible for developing Web applications in AJAX, XML, .NET and Microsoft SQL databases. Writes code for web application, Graphical User Interface, construct database schema, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
Primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement software packages for the web using documented user requirements. This will include but is not limited to troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing software code.

Must have a good understanding of object oriented programming.
Has previously done some entry level Microsoft SQL Server Database administration.
Has good experience in SQL programming in Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Knowledge of data modeling and relational database design techniques.
Has good knowledge and programming experience with AJAX, XML and ASP.NET
Experience with user interface design and implementing Style sheets
Design and implement web site functionality
Assist with the design and prototyping of new functionality
Support development needs for client facing web site.
BA or BS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
RPG, Mainframe or AS400 programming experiences a plus.
3+ years SQL development experience
3+ years in Web Application development and object oriented programming using .NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, IIS, Web Services, XML, XSLT, and classic ASP
Requires a strong background in ASP.NET software architecture, design, and development, and systems integration
Assisted IT staff in the planning, purchasing, and provisioning of hardware
Tuning and performance optimization of all processes
