SUMMARY:
Subscriber analysis technician candidate will be responsible for disassembly, assembly, alignment and troubleshooting of mobile and portable two-way radios for customers. The candidate must have an excellent understanding of RF theory and basic electronics to the component level. He/she must be proficient in the use of a communications analyzer, signal generators, power meters, DMM's, modulation analyzers, audio analyzers, electrical circuit trouble-shooting and operation of test equipment. At least 3 years related experience with RF communications & Radio Experience with Motorola communication equipment (e.g. 2-way radios) and public safety systems is a plus. The position requires the candidate to have an Associates of Applied Science Degree from an accredited institution (bachelor's degree preferred). Knowledge requirements:
Knowledge of the principles of two-way radio communication. Knowledge of the design principles of radio equipment. Knowledge of two-way radio equipment, components and systems. Knowledge of solid state electronics, the operational design of circuits, and electronic testing equipment.
