Job Description:
REQUIREMENTS
? Five years experience in Aerospace related tool fabrication, working with metal and composite tools.
? Two years technical school or equivalent experience and training.
? Set-up, adjust, and operate common types of machine shop equipment.
? Ability to work with common machine shop equipment and apply practical knowledge of characteristics of metals and machine capabilities.
? Must be able to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings and written documentation.
? Technical knowledge and ability to ensure compliance with quality control requirements.
? Ability to apply shop math, including trigonometry and descriptive geometry.
? Precision layout, fabrication and machining.
? Familiarity with resin, fabrics and plaster tooling techniques a plus.
? Optics/Laser Tracker experience a plus.
? CAM experience including conversational and/or G and M Code controller inputs preferred.
? Understands inter-tool coordination.
? Be able to work with minimal supervision.
? Assist other employees as directed.
? Journey level tool maker card preferred.
? High School Diploma (or GED equivalent) required.
