We're looking for a professional Project Manager (or Project Coordinator who is ready to move up to project manager) who takes customer service and delivery times seriously....

About the company: A leading hard goods manufacturer with international manufacturing and distribution

The selected Project Manager will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
* In this position, the Project Manager would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
* The Project Manager is the main point of contact and facilitator for all projects accepted by the company;
*Oversee custom orders from start (Order Acceptance) to finish (Final Payment);
*Communicate deadlines to proper departments and monitor production schedules if domestic and/or overseas projects to assure deadlines and commitments are met;
* Working with customers / sales / manufacturing personnel to ensure and confirm that all info gathered before, during and after the project including sampling
request for all products and finish color / shop drawings / deposit meet customer (internal and external) requirements;
*Work with diverse personalities and cultures, including production workers, vendors, clients, and partners;
*Enter and manage all orders within the ERP system and provide sales teams with Real Time info for performance results and project status;
*Submit drawings and finish samples to clients for approvals;
*Review redlines with drafters to assure proper revisions are made prior to drawing approvals and production;
*Recommend and select specialty items such as hardware, stone, metal and glass;
*Discuss and communicate revisions between production teams and customers;
*Communicate with customers / sales / manufacturing teams on a regular basis on projects and status of orders;
*Perform quality control inspections of final product;
*Act as a liaison between sales and manufacturing teams to facilitate and prepare freight quotes and written proposals;
*Provide assistance in resolving issues relating to lead times, late shipments, lost freight, product quality, invoices and credit;
*Any other additional duties / tasks / responsibilities assigned by the lead, supervisor or company management

Experience Level:

*Minimum 5+ years experience in hard goods/furniture manufacturing industry
*Track record of delivering projects on time
*Strong communication skills written and verbally
*Team oriented with good follow up skills and attention to detail
*Bachelors degree or equivalent certifications and/or additional equivalent years of relevant experience in project management, business, manufacturing
*Experience reading blueprints
*Ability to work on site full time
*Must be computer literate Excel, SAP or other ERP system, Word etc.
*Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
*Must provide work references
*Must be able to pass criminal background check
