Program Manager to act as primary customer interface for assigned programs while interfacing with performing departments and senior management to ensure program technical, schedule and cost objectives are met. Additional responsibilities include business development efforts to expand the scope of currently assigned contracts as well as to develop new and follow-on business with current customers. The successful individual will be able to lead a team and build consensus within a matrix management environment.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
*Minimum 8 years experience in a technical project or program management role while working in a defense/aerospace electronics development and production industry environment.
*A strong background with FAR, Critical Path scheduling and Earned Value progress measurement concepts.
*Strong leadership and decision making skills, as well as strong oral and written communication skills.
*Experience identifying, pursuing and negotiating SOW changes that expand current contracts and product applications.
Participated in and/or led successful proposal activities in the area of defense/aerospace electronic system development and manufacturing.
*Experience in supporting business development objectives by insuring booking and sales targets are met for assigned program areas.
*Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance and be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
*Travel required.
Education: Bachelor's degree required. BSEE or 4-year technical degree discipline (MBA desired)
*Computer skills:Excel, Word, MS Project and PowerPoint.
*PMI certification is a plus.
*Local Orange County/Riverside/Greater Los Angeles California candidates only - there is no relocation package for this position
