Develop and support multiple software applications. Provide guidance and recommendations on direction of software development. Develop integration and usage strategies into MM system. Follow systems requirements guidelines. Report and consolidate documentation to Project/Reporting Manager.
The STP Program Designer for the ePolicy and Imaging Projects will be involved in leading technical design and appropriate solutions.
o Act as the focal point for technical items for the ePolicy and Imaging Project Teams.
o Provide leadership and drive technical items
o Work with the STP design team to ensure design standardization for the program, ensure the various STP tracks integrate well, as well as common solutions where possible
o Participate in defining/documenting business specifications and plans (including development of new workflows, and support of existing established workflows already in production)
o Drive the design process defining/documenting technical specifications and plans.
o Participate in system, integration, performance testing, and disaster recovery testing
o Assist with Coding and Unit Testing for the project deliverables
o Answer client questions and train/mentor on use of applications
Experience Level:
3 Years
Requirements:
o Experience and/or proficiency with FileNet (P8) and FileNet (Image Services), DB2, Java, WebSphere, WebMethods, Web Services, SQL Server 2005, J2EE, Struts.
o Familiarity with Application Development Life-Cycle Methodologies, including system analysis, estimation and testing experience
o Ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately to achieve resolution
o Ability to drive team members to generate options that meet the business requirements within the schedule and budget of the project
o Strong verbal and written communication skills
o Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills at all levels of technical and business customer areas
o Excellent structured programming and debugging skills
o Strong root cause and problem resolution skills
o Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly Desirable:
o BS or BA degree and minimum 3 years experience in a design role.
o Mainframe experience
