Job Description: Senior level, Tester lead Evaluate the testing requirements of complex business applications. Develop (plan out / code) and execute automated regression and performance test scripts using a combination of tools to include Mercury's QuickTest Pro, WinRunner and LoadRunner. Maintain automated script "library" to ensure that scripts created remain current and are reusable. Skills required include: Programming experience in both Visual Basic and C++. Other programming experience (e.g. Java) helpful. Experience / familiarity with Mercury automated test tools. Strong analytical, problem solving & troubleshooting skills. Advanced level knowledge in the use of MS Excel and Access. Knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles, procedures and standards.
? Performs performance and load tests on projects using technical specifications: plans, schedules and implements performance testing projects, defines performance test objectives, and writes Load Runner scripts. ? Investigates and resolves technical issues in the QA Environments and communicates issues with various departments ? Design and execute performance tests using HP?s Performance Center application. ? Design and implement monitoring in order to capture metrics from systems under load. ? Perform analysis of test results and communicates them accordingly.

Requirements: ? Experience required in: HTML; XML; Active Directory; Active Server Pages (ASP); JavaScript; Visual Basic 6.0, VB.NET; VB Script, Transact SQL; Database Concepts; Windows NT 4.0, 2K; Internet web browsers; ? 3-6 years experience with; automated testing tools (HP LoadRunner and Quality Center), software development life-cycle and software development tools preferred; ? Understanding internet and web server processes; ? Strong PC skills including thorough knowledge of MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, Visio ? Ability to learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing technology field ? Ability to think outside the box, adapt to circumstances, learn from co-workers, and share information and experiences ? Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently; ?
