Job Description: SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST CONSULTANT PR2973 6-12 Months Right to Hire Hartford, CT 7-8 Positions SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST CONSULTANT SUMMARY: This individual participates in all business analysis functions including Enterprise Analysis at a senior level. In this role, the Sr. Business Analyst Consultant will master one or more key areas including: requirements of the Delivery Methodology, Travelers enterprise business architecture, Travelers product lines, Travelers business processes or Travelers supporting systems for any of these areas.
PRIMARY DUTIES: -Provide input to project plans as they pertain to requirements -Facilitate & manage development of business requirements with Subject Matter Experts ensuring completeness and comprehensiveness of all artifacts from an end to end perspective (including legal and regulatory) for all applicable areas thru implementation -Provide expertise to other BAs on the techniques and tools that the Delivery Methodology recommends for requirements modeling, review, documentation and management -Provide expertise on components of the Delivery Methodology that focus on requirements -Participate in continual improvement of the Delivery Methodology, tools and techniques as they apply to requirements -Participate in maintaining the business enterprise architecture -From time-to-time, serve as manager/lead on small-to-large scale requirements projects, business improvement efforts, or enterprise business architecture efforts -Provide coaching and mentoring to BAs
EDUCATION/COURSE OF STUDY: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience; Masters Degree preferred; Certification desirable
WORK EXPERIENCE: -Minimum of 8-10 years of BA experience -Expertise in the requirements life cycle and requirements analysis approaches and techniques -Expertise in Project Management
