This position will have the responsibility of overseeing and leading the activities of several designers and to maintain adherence to company engineering standards and procedures. The Lead Designer will be part of the Development Engineering team that develops new products for Commercial market segments within the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industries.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform associated duties of a Lead Designer in a scroll compressor engineering department including work assignment and coordination of the Drafting and Design group.

Skills/Experience Required:
? Experience maintaining engineering drawings and specifications along with Bills of Material structure in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and SAP software, or equivalent.
? Experience in creating mechanical engineering drawings and functional understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
? Experience with metal castings and machined components.
? Supervisory experience.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? PC skills are required. Microsoft applications. Unigraphics NX3 Software. SAP and PLM experience a plus.
