Job Description:
We currently seek a high caliber Electrical Engineer to work on a contract basis for duration of the project. Based in Housto, Texas, you will be working for one of the world?s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals sector.
Job Description:
? Advising departments within the company on technical issues
? Providing technical data to customers and potential customers
? Conducting training sessions for employees on technical issues
? Maintaining a library of industry standards and ensuring that the company is in compliance
? Reviewing and approving electrical material and design used
? Performing functional tests on equipment and preparing inspection reports on tests performed
? Developing new products and recommending improvements for existing products
? Performing job site inspections and investigations as needed
? Performing drawing development tasks as required
? Providing estimating support for projects as required
? Responsible for understanding the entire Code of Conduct and complying with its requirements
? Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
? Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering (4 years) plus 2 years power engineering experience, or at least 10 years power engineering experience
? Knowledge of ANSI/IEEE Standards & Guides, National Electric Code and IEC Standards
? Able to use word-processing, spreadsheet and database software
? Able to read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical journals and reports
? Able to effectively present information to top management or public groups
? Able to apply advanced mathematical concepts
