Director, PV Module Technology Development
Company Overview they engages in the development, manufacture, and marketing of photovoltaic modules that convert sunlight into electricity. The company develops thin-film silicon based photovoltaic products and manufacturing equipment for high-throughput production of flexible and lightweight photovoltaic modules at low cost.
Job Description
This position will be responsible for product design & development, process development, materials development, and equipment design & development for module manufacturing. This position will be reporting to the VP, Manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities
?h Responsible for product design & development, process development, materials development, and equipment design & development for module manufacturing and deliver the results on time To initiate and improve product design to meet customers and market demand. Come up with product road map based on marketingˇ¦s input. To improve the module performance and reliability(Failure analysis) in process development To reduce the module cost and reliability in the materials development To improve the process & testing throughput and reduce the cost of module manufacturing in equipment design & development Technically responsible for UL & IEC module certification process Lead and manage the module technology development organization to constantly improve the above four areas and deliver the improved results to module manufacturing
Qualifications & Requirements
Over 15 years hands-on professional experience in PV module engineering, including product design, cell & module process development, testing, failure analysis, materials, and equipment design & development Over 20 years hands-on professional experience of R&D and manufacturing engineering Hands-on experience in dealing with UL & IEC certification process for PV modules Proven record of building product, process, materials and equipment for PV module manufacturing BS degree in Physics and Engineering is required. MS or Ph.D. is preferred
