Job Description:
Requirements Summary

The Synthetic Products Group is seeking exceptional application development candidates well versed in software design and programming. The successful candidate will have 2-5 years programming experience and demonstrate proficiency in multiple technologies such as C, C++, Java, XML, Perl, other computer languages, and relational databases. A working knowledge of fixed income securities, equities, equity derivatives and risk management tools is highly desirable. Comfort with multiple programming and design paradigms is a plus.
Candidates must demonstrate excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, should possess superior communications skills both written and verbal and be comfortable interacting with different areas of the firm.

Principal Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for analysis, design, coding and support of risk and trading, position management and workflow tools and reports to support the rapid expansion of the synthetic products business in a responsive, business-aligned environment.

Requirements:
Experience/Skills (Minimum 2 years)

? Software design skill and experience. Strong proficiency in multiple technologies such as C, C++, Java, XML, Perl, and relational databases.
? A working knowledge of financial instruments is desirable.
? Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
