Job Description:
Requirements Role/Group Summary:
The position is for a Senior Developer in the Custody Technology Reporting Database team. The candidate will work closely with other Custody Technology teams and other global users groups (operations and services) to develop new projects as well as support and enhance existing software.
Reporting Database is a data repository of important referential and transaction information for PWM clients. Reporting DB team is responsible for providing this information to client facing applications on web; for producing monthly client statements and by various internal applications like billing and compliance. The team is also responsible for generating various regulatory reports.
Principal Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities would entail development, enhancements and production support.
? Design and Develop new software
? Production Support
? Perform analysis and define requirements
? Implement new projects and enhance the existing software
? Work closely with business team in a fast paced environment
? Interact effectively with various technology clients
? Provide technical leadership to junior team members
Experience Level:
3 Years
Requirements:
Required Technical Skills:
? SQL and Relational Databases (Sybase strongly preferred)-development experience rather then system design
? DB performance tuning.
? UNIX and Perl
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Skills:
? Business/Financial Services Experience
? Demonstrate strong initiative and ownership
? Good team person
Nice to have:
? Java development experience
