Title: Oracle eBusiness Suite Business System Analyst Location: New York City
Description: The Business System Analyst will be part of a two phase project with the objective of integrating the company New System to Oracle Financials and reduced the numbers of the old systems modules in order to obtain a greater efficiency. Phase 1: The Business System Analyst is responsible for the conduction of Business Process Review Reengineering (BPR) and Organizational Change Management (OCM). This phase involves. Responsibilities includes: 1) Documenting and Validating Goals, Objectives and Business Case for Implementing Changes 2) Detailed OCM Report, plan/road map 3) Create reports indicating business process reorganization materials and final organization plans 4) Create reports indicating Effects, Changes necessary, Impact and Benefits for the Organization, Impact on Human Resources. Phase 2: The Business System Analyst will be involved in all phases of configuring and implementing the Procurements Modules. Responsibilities includes 1) Documentation and Coding 2) finalization of the System Requirements 3) Support, 4) Integration with Oracle Financials 5) Integration with Maximo, 6) Testing and Implementation 7) Training, 8) Transfer Plan and Procedures. 9) Post Final Implementation Support.
Technical Skill Requirements:
Phase 1 Minimum Requirement 1. The Consultant must possess at least four (4) years of experience in the following areas: a. Experience in strategic change management, business, and organizational process reengineering and redesign; b. Experience in stakeholder analysis and development of communication methodologies; c. Procurement transformation experience including procurement process design, procurement organization design and procurement technology implementations; d. Experience in identifying and incorporating operational efficiencies into the strategic sourcing process, spend analysis (procurement reporting), contract management process, procure-to-pay process and vendor management process; e. Experience in conducting workshops with key groups to understand the current state processes, define and validate the future state processes and gather requirements to support technology implementation; and f. Experience in standardizing RFI/RFP/contract templates for technology implementations. 2. The Consultant must possess at least three (3) years of experience in the following areas: a. Functional knowledge of the Procurement Modules to use them optimally to support the business processes; b. Involvement in the successful implementation of Oracle Purchasing modules and Procurement Modules; c. Successful implementation/support of public sector organizational realignment in the last three years; and d. Experience in business process modeling.
Phase 2 Minimum Requirement 1. The Consultant must possess at least four (4) years of experience in the following areas: a. Experience in successful implementation and support of public sector advanced procurement applications; b. Project management experience in all phases of project life cycle; c. Define functional requirements from the defined future state processes; and d. Develop functional and technical design documents. 2. The Consultant must possess at least two (2) years of experience in the following areas: a. Experience in system analysis and application configuration of the Procurement Modules (Oracle 11i); and b. Technical experience with the Procurement Modules including workflow, Discoverer, 6i reporting and interfaces.
