Job Description: Job Responsibilities: Electrical Engineer for the design of electrical and electronic systems used in fuel cell stack and power plant test facilities. Responsible for hardware selection, wiring design, conceptual control logic, and software / hardware interfaces. Tasks include the planning, design, procurement, construction, calibration, installation and modification activities necessary to prepare, install and maintain the test equipment. Activities also include participation in FMEA's, HazOp's, EH&S reviews, failure investigations, and the training of hourly test operators. This position involves close interaction with numerous engineering disciplines and hourly functions. Ability to work in a team environment is a must. Applicant must be comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic work environment. A strong commitment to continuous improvement, root cause corrective action, and A.C.E. is required.
Experience Level: 2 Years
Requirements: Education: BS in Electrical Engineering
Experience/Qualifications: 2 - 5 years experience in product development and evaluation/test activity, or production testing. Or two years experience in an engineering environment exercising the responsibilities described. Experience with LabView.
Additional Comments: Experience in any of these is a plus: automatic or dynamic controls, electro-mechanical components, PC data acquisition, PC real time control systems, N.I. software and hardware. Some shift rotation may be required.
