Descriptions: - MUST HAVE SCI CLEARANCE TO BE CONSIDERED - Standard Job Description Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. - Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. - Specific Job Description Performs technical planning and execution of detailed engineering design troubleshooting, repair, and improvement for undersea electrical power, digital, and analog sensor system and components (including cost and risk). - Leads teams of engineers and technicians in the field to troubleshoot and correct existing and problems with limited supervision. - Required to plan and perform ad-hoc engineering as required to return systems to operation. - Must maintain excellent customer relations through detailed interaction, reporting, and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into solutions that meet technical, schedule, and cost constraints. - Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into specifications.
Experience Level: 5+ Years
Requirements: Requirements: - Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. - Considered an emerging authority. - Required skills Circuit design and test. - Instrumentation. - Test and evaluation of electrical power systems. - Familiarity with Naval shipboard electrical systems. - Desired skills Familiarity with US Navy electrical power systems. - Ability to work with technicians in an integrated team. - Drug Test - Background Check - US Citizenship or Green Card Holder
