- Standard Job Description Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Specific Job Description
- Systems Engineer for unmanned deep sea systems and vehicles.
- The SE will define and decompose system requirements and functional system requirements, documenting specifications, identifying requirements flowdown, design and architecture development and traceability, risk mitigation and RVTM.
- They are also responsible for RMA, controls and I&T analysis.
- Position requires excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work across multiple engineering disciplines and business functions.

- Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
- Considered career, or journey, level.
- Required skills SE experience with Req?s definition, RMA, vehicle controls and I&T.
- Practical application and use of SE processes.
- Experience with DOORS required.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Desired skills Experience on deep sea programs.
- Experience with unmanned undersea vehicles.
- Experience with SysML, Rhapsody, Systems Architect.
