Descriptions: - Manages functions and activities as directed by the Project Manager. - Manages a broad array of engineering, business, and technical activities in order to ensure the success of large, high cost, highly visible, multi-year transmission projects. - Performs engineering and business analysis and evaluation consistent with project goals. - Determines scope, budget, and schedule for supporting departments, contracts, and purchase orders. - Approves invoices regarding achievement of deliverables and adherence to payment plan. - Ensures deliverables meet technical requirements. - Makes adjustments to budgets, contracts, and purchase orders as necessary. - Negotiates technical and business issues between team members and departments; documents associated management decisions. - Negotiates consensus on and achievement of management decisions tied to scope, schedule, costs, and major technical requirements. - Documents and defends decisions to higher management. - Resolves conflicts among team members and departments regarding their assignments and goals. - Between regular updates of project schedules, provides interim direction to team members, vendors, and supporting departments. - Negotiates contract adjustments and resolves contract disputes. - Acts for Project Manager in her/his absence. - Properly completes engineering and business analysis and evaluation.
Experience Level: 5+ Years
Requirements: Requirements: - Candidates must have a 4 year engineering degree, BSEE or BSCE preferred. - Minimum of 5 years experience leading cross functional teams is required for the engineer level and 10 years for the senior level, preferably in the utility industry. - Drug Test - Background Check - US Citizenship or Green Card Holder
