Descriptions:
- Review of system requirements allocated to software; Review Pilot Specifications, System Documentation & software interface control documents for accuracy, completeness & inconsistencies. - Participate in Interface negotiation and preparation
- Perform detailed reviews of Supplier Environmental Qualification Test Procedures, prepared using requirements contained in Source Control Drawings and/or Specifications.
- Provide specific written comments and recommend approval/disapproval with comments based on detailed analysis of the specified environmental standards and environments.
- The documents involved are per specifications such as RTCA/DO-160 (versions A through E), MIL-STD-810 (versions B through F) and various other Environmental standards.
- Perform detailed reviews of Supplier Environmental Qualification Test Reports, provide specific written comments and recommend approval/disapproval with specific reasons.
- The reports will be reviewed against the requirements of approved Test Procedures.
- Test reports shall also be prepared for submittal to approving authorities such as the FAA and the U.S. Government.

- BS degree in a related field or an equivalent level of experience.
- A minimum of 10 years experience inthe field of aircraft Avionics and Electrical equipment qualification with relation to Environmental Qualification/Certification.
- Complete working knowledge of standards such as RTCA/DO-160 (A through E) and MIL-STD-810 (B through F) is required.
- 10+ years of experience required.
