Descriptions:
- Contract Electrical Engineer with primary focus on reviewing and testing out the client's West Avenue Backup Generator and Battery System, and secondary focus on providing electrical support for the Property Management Group.
- Review and get familiarized with the existing West Avenue backup generator system design and construction
- Recommend and install system improvements if/as required
- Attend and oversee monthly backup generator tests at West Avenue
- Design procedure to fully test generator system, actuating all system components to ensure system capability
- Document system test and oversee necessary repairs
- If repairs are required, re-schedule and redo system test
- Provide reports to Senior Management of testing
- Set up ongoing annual testing of all system components, including full load test to meet NPCC requirements
- Review all other client's facility backup generator systems and get familiarized with the existing system design and construction
- Recommend and install system improvements if/as required

- Design procedure to fully test generator systems, actuating all system components to ensure systems' capability
- Document system test and oversee necessary repairs

- Provide electrical support as needed for various Property Management capital projects, such as office relocations, new facilities work, etc.

Requirements:
- Must have Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university or college, U.S. or equivalent foreign university
- If foreign university-trained, transcript in English is required for review/approval
- NYS Licensed Professional Engineer is a plus but not required
- CV must contain a minimum of 3 years experience in backup power systems, including generators, battery strings, transfer switch system design and installation for critical facilities, data centers, etc.
- List of appropriate references is required
- Ability to pass DOT drug test required
- Ability to pass 7 year background check required
