Reference Number: 6277 Job Description: Reference #6277 Description: - Supplier shall provide engineering safety and reliability analysis for PSA NGPF Control & Diagnostic Systems (CDS). - The safety and reliability task includes completing a reliability and safety plan, a functional hazard assessment, preliminary system safety assessment, common mode analysis, system safety assessment, failure mode and effect analysis, Single Event Upset Risk Analysis and Implementation Solution, Engine Isolation Analysis, Failure Mode and Effect Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Operating and Support Hazard Analysis (O&SHA), Control System Electromagnetic Compatibility and Lightning Protection Certification Test Report / Analysis, Single vs. Dual Connector evaluation, Thrust Control Malfunction analysis, and Automatic Performance Reserve Function. Experience Level: Unspecified Requirements: Requirements: - Needs to be able to work export controlled material (9e003a.9 and 9e003a.10b). - Expert knowledge and proficiency with respect to control systems and Safety & Reliability as it relates to level A flight critical software. - Applicant must have expert knowledge of FAA certification requirements as well as software certification standard RTCA DO-178B.
