Job Description: - Develop engine module shipping containers for the NGPF program - Work with PHS&T Engineers, Engineering, and various Integrated Product Teams, to determine NGPF engine module design configurations and establish requirements for the air and truck transport of modules - Manage the planning and design of the required containers as well as the build of the physical hardware - Monitor engine configuration design changes during the process to ensure the chosen container design in consistent with the engine hardware - Coordinate with design and build suppliers to ensure all requirements are met and schedule and budget requirements are maintained - Pull engine hardware modules into Unigraphics and develop concepts for the design of the containers - Coordinate with the hardware Engineers to determine the best and least expensive ways to attach to the hardware minimizing container cost and complexity - Manage the final design and drafting of the internal structure and container shell (where needed) and work with our tool purchasing group to find suitable suppliers that can manufacture the 1st article to scheduled and budgeted requirements - Responsible to cover the 1st article fit check to the actual engine hardware and cover any load testing that is required

Requirements: - BS in Engineering with 4+ years of experience - Must possess strong communications skills both written and oral - Strong organizational skills and detail oriented - Be able to establish excellent customer relations - A self-starter and an effective team participant - Project based engineer with a working knowledge of MS Office, blue print reading skills and Unigraphics - TeamCenter training a plus - Drug Screen - Background Check - US citizen or green card holder
