Job Description:
We are having an immediate opportunity with our client to be based in San Antonio, Texas for a Senior Java/J2EE Developer. This is a Fulltime/Permanent opportunity. (FULLTIME / Direct Hire perm)
Position - Sr Java/J2EE Developer
Locations: 2 positions in San Antonio, TX and 1 position in Atlanta, GA
Salary: up to $100K, plus benefits.
Must be US Citizens or GC/EAD holders
This is a hands-on designer/developer position. The person will work from developed architecture standards and solution specifications, and collaborate with other developers and architects.

Qualifications/Requirements

. 5 Plus years of development experience, primarily with J2EE and Java.
. Good working knowledge of Web Services
. Must have experience working with N-Tier architectures having worked in all tiers.
. Strong communication skills.
. Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.
. Goal-oriented, proactive and deadline-oriented.
. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent on-the-job experience is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

. Design and develop modules using J2EE technologies.
. Design and develop web services using J2EE technologies
. Take part in all aspects of the development lifecycle (requirements analysis - design - implementation - defect fixing - release).
. Support existing production applications
. Work closely with other members of the development team on design and development and task assignments.
. Take on the role as a team lead for junior developers and become a mentor.
