Job Description:
One of America's largest money managers, This role, reporting to the US Head of Product Control, will be responsible for executing the Independent Price Verification (IPV) function.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in ensuring the accuracy of Daily P/L and reliable investor and management reporting by:
? Analyzing model-based and illiquid prices across company?s funds, especially in asset-backed securities (both MBS and other ABS)
? Assessing pricing and model inputs against independent sources to determine appropriate support
? Assisting in building infrastructure to create a repeatable IPV process
? Assist in developing pricing policy, and evaluate compliance with policy
? Assessing market data vendor processes to validate reliability of quotes
? Build monthly report of price verification results
? Liaise with our Fund Administrator to create independent checks, and provide for cost-effective controls.

Experience Level:
5+ Years
Requirements:
? Bachelor?s degree in related field (finance, financial math, accounting); master?s degree highly preferred
? 5-7 years? experience in similar roles, especially relating to ABS/MBS
? Experience with Intex, Bloomberg, Markit and similar market data tools is required, as well as a high degree of competence with MS Office tools
? Good communication skills, necessary for effective liaison with various management and senior staff in the product teams, Finance, Operations, and our Fund Administrators
