- Fluency developing for Linux/UNIX environments or Microsoft.
- Relational Database experience, preferably Sybase
- SOAP/XML
- Messaging, preferably MQ Series

Description:
As part of the application development team, developer would be responsible for creating and maintaining systems which support trade processing, trade capture, confirmation, settlement and reporting to the firm's books and records. Work closely with business analysts from the operations team to complete the analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of these systems.
You will be expected to work across multiple technical teams, analyze and renovate existing workflows and system interfaces, propose creative solutions in a time-to-market environment and interact with business users and analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Prior experience, both leading and participating, in the analysis, design and development of client/server based financial applications is required. A successful candidate should have broad-based and in-depth experience with the entire system development life-cycle. Experience must encompass client/server, database, systems integration and reporting.
