We need a weblogic guru who has design, packaging, delivery and support of J2EE web infrastructure technologies on WebLogic.

This is not a Development Role. The candidate must have extensive infrastructure skills in the design, packaging, delivery and support of J2EE web infrastructure technologies on WebLogic. The candidate will work closely with another employee in the same role. The candidate will be part of team of 15 highly skilled web infrastructure specialists covering together IIS, Sharepoint, Iplanet, WebLogic, LDAP, SiteMinder, TeamSite, and OpenDeploy. This role requires that the candidate:
? Familiarize himself with customer?s Highly integrated Java Application Platform based on a suite of products to provide a development environment, release management, DEV/QA/PROD environments based on Solaris/Linux and WebLogic 9/10/11.
? Acts a Subject Matter Expert in the Region to onboard multiple development teams on the platform. Train the developers on how to migrate from a standard J2EE environment to the platform.
? Support the production infrastructure to provide best-in-class service level to customers reaching 6-sigma availability.
? Provide after hours and week-end coverage on a rotation basis as part the team.
? Deploy the infrastructure in NY in collaboration with engineering teams in Zurich and London.
? Writes scripts (80%ksh/5%perl/5%java) to automate and customize special engineering requirements (no development of application required)

Requirements:
Required Work Experience/skills
1. Extensive hands-on experience within the IT industry administering WebLogic Application servers in a production environment.
(exceptional WebSphere expertise will be considered) 2. Excellent communication skills: delivering precise accurate information. Adapting language style to a wide range of audiences. Remain calm under pressure.
3. Moderate Experience developing J2EE applications. (ie: having build a Java application using JDBC, JMS, JNDI, configuring an NSAPI WebLogic plugin?) 4. Ability to work independently, manages projects, take ownership of tasks and be held accountable for the delivery of High Quality products, and customer services.

1. Engineering background
2. ORACLE Databases knowledge
3. Basic Networking knowledge ? Firewall architectures & concepts, Layer2 Load Balancers, Layer 3 Load balancers? 4. Solaris Administration 5. WebLogic Portal 6. WebLogic Aqualogic Service Bus (or equivalent SOA) 7. Financial / Investment Banking Experience 8. ITIL v2 or ITIL v3 9. Implementing PKI (SSL) 10. Lean Sigma / PMP
