Responsibilities:
The primary goal of this position is to provide customers with in-depth product and market knowledge on our Oracle product to insure customer's success of our company's solutions. As a secondary set of responsibilities, this position will support our Teradata product in the same capacity. This is a highly exciting and challenging role. The individual we are seeking will have demonstrated Oracle and Teradata software industry expertise and credentials that clearly establish credibility among our existing and potential clients. Your responsibilities will include partnering directly with clients to find the most effective and timely solutions; achievement of service targets; managing work flow priorities; maintaining high visibility with our clients and providing thought leadership externally and within the organization as you work to present a portfolio of customer focused business solutions through the application of our software.The individual we are seeking will be able to effectively combine high level conceptual thinking with hands on Oracle technical knowledge while maintaining a dynamic presence with our clients. This position calls for the ability to write and present documentation and reports in a clear and concise manner. Travel is a requirement.
At first, you will focus primarily on our software for Oracle. Once you have mastered this area you will be expected to expand your knowledgebase to include other databases/platforms supported by our software (Teradata in particular), then further expand your knowledge to include these programs.

OWNERSHIP OF IMPLEMENTATION Project Management Build professional services quota plans Fulfill or exceed your professional services quota plans Present product demonstrations Prepare and deliver Statements of Work Compile client detailed environment information Match environment requirements with best solution. Augment Sales Engineer staff, on a as needed basis Assist with RFI & RFPs Arrange product shipments Assist with support issues on an as needed basis Travel (up to 50-75%)

Requirements: Required Qualifications:
At least 5 years of documented Oracle experience as DBA or DBA Developer. Oracle Certified Associate Exceptional Skills in PL/SQL Demonstrated understanding of Oracle RAC, 8i, 9i, 10g and 11g databases. Demonstrated understanding of Open Systems Architecture Demonstrated understanding of shell programming At least two years as professional services consultant Demonstrated project management skills/experience Exceptionally strong presenter and persuader Strong problem solving and analytical skills Well-developed interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with diverse personalities Strong business acumen Understanding of the role of technology in solving business issues and improving ROI Travel
