Job Description: Our client, a leader in open source solutions is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager with a solid background in JEE for their Orlando office.
Overview:
Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this position is responsible for following the Agile principals of software development. This position will work closely with Product Management and Services to ensure delivery and alignment of PM Roadmap business priorities as well as portfolio management objectives. This key position will drive consistent process and management across the organization, resulting in predictable and measurable deliverables.

5+ years of Project management experience. Understanding of agile or other iterative software development methodologies. Experience with Java, Windows and Unix/Linux. Understanding with IDEs such as Eclipse. Reliable, self-motivated, and focused on high quality delivery of work products. Skilled in navigating the pitfalls and benefits of leading a development team. Proven track record of building and managing teams. Strong organization and facilitation skills. Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of application servers such as JBoss, Apache Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, or BEA WebLogic. Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit, Catutus, and the Mercury suite of applications. Knowledge of Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) tools (e.g. Informatica PowerCenter, Ascential DataStage, Acta, AbInitio). Knowledge of OLAP/Reporting/BI architectures and tools (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, Microstrategy, Hyperion). 4-year University degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
