Job Description: The primary responsibilities of this position will be to develop markets by identifying potential products, working out specifications and timetables with Product Development, initiating test markets, and developing marketing and pricing strategies.
This will include determining customers' needs and desires and product pricing by specifying the research needed to obtain market information; recommending the nature and scope of present product lines by appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging change; and assessing market competition by comparing the company's product to competitor's product.
Company has several locations. However, this position can be accomplished at the upper New York State facility or at the California facility. Key background is Surgical Oncology marketing experience. Plus, a requirement to complete a questionnaire before submission. Bracket of salary acknowledges the extra salary required in California versus upstate New York and bonuses achieved to plan. Bonus of 8% reaching MBO, plus 8% defined by overall business success, plus 8% successful product revenues achieved.
Experience Level: 3 Years
Requirements: Ideal Candidate will possess: 3-6 years marketing/sales experience in the medical field. This person needs to have Oncology experience!
Particular experience with Focal Cancer Therapy, Surgical Devices or Venous Disease a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or related field coupled with a MBA which is preferred.
A questionnaire is to be completed as a requirement for consideration. Questionnaire includes, for example, questions concerning - experience defining and launching successful products, -experience when & where that you developed business justification for new products and product roadmaps, and - examples of experience when & where using the Internet as a marketing tool.
