Job Description: Our premier Direct client is seeking the services of several Lawson Employees and Contractors.
Please Note: 1. The positions are both Permanent and Contract as indicated under each. 2. On some of the positions, the person can work remotely from where they are based with occasional on-site presence (i.e. Telecommute). 3. The client is very actively interviewing for these positions.
POSITIONS:
1. Lawson Relationship Manager: 3 Employee Positions (2 Healthcare focused (1 west coast, 1 mid atlantic region), 1 Strategic Markets) [New York City and Work Remotely]
A Relationship Manager is responsible for serving as the primary service delivery contact with customers engaged for application management and hosting (including remote application management) services. A Relationship Manager is also responsible for providing direction to technical resources assigned to assist their customers and for participating in presales activities including proposal writing and customer presentations. The principal measurement of the level of success of a Relationship Manager is client satisfaction. Surveys will be conducted independently and reviewed periodically with Relationship Managers.
Responsibilities: Managing all client incidents (critical and non-critical) including: Timely client communication, Escalation of incidents that have extended beyond pre-established thresholds, After-action reviews, and SLA credits and communication; Managing migrations, upgrades, and other projects; Preparing and issuing monthly reports; Conducting monthly teleconferences and quarterly face-to-face status and planning meetings with customers; Identifying additional services and solutions required or potentially useful to customers; and Communicating the status of customer accounts internally
2. Technical Specialists [6 Open positions (3 Contractors, 3 Employees), Work Remotely]
Senior Technical Consultant for field technical work streams of new system implementations, upgrades, and revisions. Responsible for identifying and assessing client technical needs as well as delivering technical solutions. Technical solutions include technical assessments, customization analysis and scoping, customization development and unit testing, technical troubleshooting (e.g., of hardware and networking infrastructure). Candidate attributes:
o Experience with managing application and custom development initiatives o Experience with coordinating network configurations and problem diagnostics o Experience with Lawson full-lifecycle development and implementations including analysis, specification, development, unit and system testing, integration and parallel testing, production cut-over and on-going change management / version control o Experience with Lawson installation and support o Proficient at balancing needs of multiple clients and with working in a matrixed team environment o Effective at communicating technical needs to non-technical resources
3. CERTIFIED LSF 9 INSTALLER : IMMEDIATE NEED 2 Positions (1 employee, 1 Contractor) Work Remotely
Requirements: Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience working with Lawson in a system administration role. Candidate must have Lawson training and certification if available, in the relevant technology areas. LSF 9.0 Experience and certification a plus Candidate must have a strong understanding of UNIX and Windows operating systems. Candidate should be familiar with Lawson security design and set-up and Lawson?s report writing tools. Candidate should be familiar with Java technology including administering Java on web servers running servlet containers. Knowledge of IIS/Tomcat, Apache/Tomcat, and/or WebSphere is a plus Candidate should have a strong understanding of Oracle and SQL-Server database, although certification in these areas is not required.
4. Lawson Help Desk Analyst: Level I (1 position) & Level II (1 position) [Employee, Work Remotely]
Position will involve technical installation and support Lawson systems on either a Microsoft NT/2000 or UNIX platform. Candidate will be responsible for installation, tuning, upgrading, system maintenance, and system administration. To be effective in this role, candidate requires experience working with operating systems, hardware, local area networks, wide area networks, firewalls, and Internet security.
Responsibilities: Initial system installation and configuration. System availability for assigned customer systems. System maintenance and tuning Customer satisfaction with relation to response times, resolution time, and quality of communication. User account management Adherence to company policy and procedures.
