Job Description:
PROJECT: The project involves the development of an enterprise level web-based application based on J2EE technologies. The duration of the project spans multi-years.

Requirements:
Senior Network Engineer:
Must Have Experience with:
- Building and configuring Cisco switches (6500, 2900, 4500, etc.) from scratch
- Layer 2/3/7 Security concepts
- Layer 2 protocols such as STP and VTP
- Creation of trunking and etherchannels
- Configuring varieties of Cisco routers (2800, 3600, 3700, 7200, etc.)
- Routing protocols (EIGRP, RIPv2, BGP, OSPF)
- Cisco ACS (TACACS and RADIUS protocols)
- TCP/IP troubleshooting techniques
- Configuring Cisco PIX firewalls (501, 515, 525, etc.) from scratch
- Network monitoring software (HP Openview, Whatsup Pro, Smarts In Charge, Netcool, etc.)
- Cisco VoIP and QoS
- SNMP
- Using SYSLOG for network logging
- Network and server security hardening
- VMware ESX/GSX
- Working in a multi network/vlan environment
- Good understanding of Windows Servers and Active Directory
- Good understanding of Linux/UNIX systems and commands
- Experience with Cisco CSM (content switch module) and SSL modules
- Experience with supporting users in a Microsoft Windows environment XP/2000/2003.
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2003.
- Windows Client/Server Deployment (RIS/Ghost)
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Terminal Services.
- General desktop Troubleshooting skills (Install Printers/Shares/New users using ADUC)
Pluses:
- Cisco Firewall Services Modules (FWSM)
- Ciscoworks products (VMS, LMS, CSM)
- Cisco network IDS/IPS and CSA (Cisco Security Agent)
- Scripting in a UNIX/Linux/Windows environment
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP
