Reference Number: 781122 Job Description: Bond/Financial Products IT is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to work as a build and release coordinator for our Enterprise Systems development team. This position will also involve development of .NET applications for the Enterprise team. Responsibilities will include some or all of the following: - Acting as the lead in managing our software builds for major and minor releases - Coordinating release efforts with our project management team, application leads and development staff - Managing our monthly, quarterly and unplanned releases - Developing and maintaining Enterprise applications with .NET framework components. - Developing application in VB.NET, C#, and ASP.NET - Working as a liaison to the Travelers? core groups to schedule updates and deployments of major changes to the Bond-FPS desktops - Developing and managing testing and roll-out project plans for software releases, desktop updates, and server implementations - Working with other release coordinators, developers and QA to identify and implement continuous improvement of the deployment and release process - Acting as a liaison to departments outside of Bond to manage change impacts - Enhancing the existing software release process - Managing Travelers? core updates for our servers and workstations - Working independently as well as part of a project team Experience Level: Unspecified Requirements: - Strong technical, interpersonal and business skills. Good communication skills and ability to interface with fellow technical employees and business partners - Proficiency in the .Net platform - Understanding of and experience with the application development lifecycle - Ability to rapidly learn technical/business techniques and disciplines - Strong commitment to high quality work and timely deliverables
